The Conference of the Birds là một bài thơ của xứ Ba t.ư xưa kia, kể về hành trình của muôn loài chim đi tìm vị vua trong truyền thuyết của chúng - con chim Simorgh.
Vượt qua muôn ngàn dặm đường, trùng trùng núi non và bão tố, đến tận cùng mặt đất. Trên hành trình tưởng chừng như vô tận đó, nhiều kẻ đã bỏ cuộc vì không chiến thắng được yếu đuối và cám dỗ của chính mình. Cuối cùng khi đến đích, chỉ còn lại 30 chú chim.
